Ventura County has a lot of events of possible interest to members of the class. If you've moved away; you might want to plan visits around them or, if you live in the area, use this as a guide to where to take your out-of-town visitors. This page will list some of the biggest ones as we learn about them.
July: Most communities have Independence Day events on July
4 or the week before or after (depending on which is closest to the
actual date).
August: Ventura County Fair.
December: Most communities have Christmas street fairs or
other events this month. Channel Islands Harbor in Oxnard and the
Ventura Harbor in Ventura have parades of lights.
